This website is operated by Anneka Mistry, Mortgage Agent — Level 2 (FSRA License M20002022), doing business as AnneeCapital, with mortgage brokerage services provided through Dominion Lending Centres Expert Financial (Brokerage License #12129). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, request a callback, use the pre-qualify quiz, or leave your details in the chat, we collect what you choose to share, such as:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- details about your situation, such as your purchase price, down payment, renewal date, income range or the type of mortgage you’re interested in;
- your answers to the pre-qualify quiz, which are sent along with the form if you submit it;
- any message or question you send us.
Numbers you type into the calculators stay in your browser unless you choose to submit a form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and how our ads perform. This can include the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region), and how you arrived at the site, including whether you clicked one of our Google ads.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and follow up about your mortgage needs.
- To provide mortgage services, including comparing options across lenders. We only share your information with a lender, insurer or credit bureau as part of an application, with your consent.
- To send you monthly rate updates or a checklist, if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed mortgage agent.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we use
- Formspree delivers the forms on this site to our inbox.
- Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site.
- Google Ads measures which ads lead to enquiries. When you submit a form, your email address and phone number are converted into an unreadable code (a one-way “hash”) in your browser before being shared with Google. Google uses that code only to connect your enquiry to an ad you may have clicked. It does not receive your readable contact details through this process. This is known as Google Ads “enhanced conversions”.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- YouTube hosts the videos shown on some pages.
- Dominion Lending Centres, our brokerage, handles your file if you go ahead with a mortgage application.
Some of these providers store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
- You can manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
- You can unsubscribe from rate updates using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
Keeping your information
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as we’re required to by law and our regulator.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it, subject to legal and contractual limits.
